Patient Experience
Health services should be shaped by the patients and communities they serve hence listening to patients' views is essential to providing a patient-centered health service. Aside from striving to provide high quality care, improving patient's experiences as a whole is a complex process requiring investigations into every aspect of how care is delivered starting from when the patient first came into contact with the health system. Efficiency and good clinical practice play an important part in patient experience but other factors also come into play such as how the patient feels in regards to the care they receive, their relationship with the staff and the physical environment around them.
Lake has conducted patient experience questionnaires for various NHS organisations nationwide with data analysed at a local level in order to highlight patient's specific experiences of individual PCTs. Most of the research we conduct is designed to understand the overall experience of patients from referral through to treatment to enable the NHS to make measured improvements.
We have also conducted surveys to assess people's perception and awareness of individual PCT's to feed into their Marketing Strategies.
